A partner organization with VaSCL, Newsela is a digital content platform aligned instructionally to Virginia standards. This workshop will demonstrate how to use Newsela resources to move students through inquiry-based scientific lessons using differentiated content resources that integrate literacy with science inquiry. Even if your division or school doesn’t have a subscription, you can still access their freemium resources. If your division is a Newsela subscriber, this workshop will also support your instructional strategy applications across a wide range of featured content.
